HSE Officer (Freelance / Temporary Role)
π Job Overview:
A reputed company in Qatar is urgently seeking a qualified HSE Officer with strong experience in Oil & Gas or Road/Infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring workplace safety, compliance with regulations, and implementation of HSE policies across project sites.
π οΈ Key Responsibilities:
πΉ Health & Safety Management:

Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and standards

Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification
-
Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations
πΉ Site Safety Monitoring:
-
Perform regular site inspections and safety audits
-
Identify unsafe conditions and take corrective actions
-
Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment
πΉ Training & Reporting:
-
Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions
-
Prepare HSE reports, incident reports, and documentation
-
Investigate accidents and recommend preventive measures
π Qualification Requirements:
-
Bachelorβs degree or Diploma in Engineering / Occupational Health & Safety
-
NEBOSH / IOSH certification is highly preferred
πΌ Experience Required:
-
Minimum 5 years experience in Oil & Gas projects
OR
-
Minimum 4 years experience in Road / Infrastructure projects (Middle East)
π‘ Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of HSE standards and regulations
-
Risk assessment and incident investigation skills

Excellent communication and reporting abilities

Ability to work independently and under pressure

Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
