A leading provider of fire protection and safety solutions in Qatar is looking to expand its technical and engineering team. The company specializes in the installation, design, and maintenance of advanced fire protection systems including fire alarms, firefighting systems, ventilation systems, and staircase pressurization systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
The company is seeking a skilled Estimation Engineer with experience in fire protection and ventilation systems. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing project specifications, and preparing competitive quotations for fire protection system projects.
• Prepare cost estimates and project quotations for fire protection and ventilation system projects.
• Analyze project drawings, technical specifications, and material requirements for accurate budgeting.
Prepare project cost estimates and technical proposals
Review engineering drawings and tender documents
Calculate costs for materials, equipment, labor, and installation
Coordinate with engineering and procurement teams
Prepare quotations and bid documentation
Support the sales team in tender submissions
Ensure estimates comply with project specifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Fire Protection Engineering / MEP Engineering
Experience in fire protection systems estimation
Knowledge of ventilation systems and staircase pressurization systems
Strong understanding of fire protection systems
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
Cost analysis and budgeting skills
Knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards
Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation software
