Job Description:

The Senior Planning Engineer will be responsible for managing the scheduling, monitoring, and progress control of construction projects. The role requires deep knowledge of planning tools and construction methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and update project schedules using Primavera or MS Project

  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines

  • Generate weekly and monthly progress reports

  • Coordinate with site engineers, procurement, and project management

  • Forecast delays and propose mitigation measures

  • Conduct delay analysis and extension of time (EOT) claims

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in planning for building construction projects

  • Proven experience in low-rise and high-rise buildings

  • UPDA/MMUP certification is a plus

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong reporting and documentation skills
