Job Description:

Candidzone Qatar is urgently hiring a Mechanical Inspector with experience in building construction and consultancy projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting mechanical installations to ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site inspections for mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, etc.)

  • Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and materials

  • Ensure installation quality aligns with approved designs and industry standards

  • Prepare and submit inspection reports and non-conformance reports (NCRs)

  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams

  • Monitor site progress and report any delays or issues

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Inspector in building projects

  • Experience working in consultancy or supervision roles

Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems used in building construction

  • Familiarity with international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.)

  • Excellent communication and reporting skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD
