Job Description:

Sana Marble, a leading marble supply and installation company in Qatar, is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor with experience in marble and natural stone projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, contract administration, and overall cost control of marble works in construction projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates for marble and natural stone works.

  • Evaluate and manage project costs, budgets, and variations.

  • Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to assess materials and labor requirements.

  • Prepare BOQs, tender documents, and subcontractor packages.

  • Track material consumption, subcontractor performance, and cost efficiency.

  • Assist in contract negotiation and evaluation of claims and variations.

  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams.

  • Generate regular cost and progress reports for management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in marble and natural stone quantity surveying.

  • Must be currently residing in Qatar.

  • Experience with large-scale marble installation projects is highly preferred.

Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of marble/natural stone materials and installation techniques.

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity surveying software.

  • Good understanding of contractual terms and cost control methods.

  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent communication and reporting skills in English.
