📄 Job Description:

The company is seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimation Engineer with expertise in fire protection systems. The role involves estimating costs for fire fighting systems and preparing proposals in compliance with industry standards (especially NFPA).

✅ Key Responsibilities:

  • Review project specifications, drawings, and technical documents

  • Prepare accurate cost estimations for mechanical fire protection systems

  • Analyze material and labor costs and prepare BOQs

  • Coordinate with design and project teams to validate estimations

  • Provide technical support during tendering and proposal phases

  • Ensure compliance with NFPA codes and QCDD regulations

  • Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations

🎓 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in mechanical estimation (preferably in firefighting systems)

  • Knowledge of NFPA codes and Fire Fighting Systems is mandatory

  • UPDA / QCDD certification preferred

  • Must have a transferable visa/NOC

🛠 Skills Required:

  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, especially fire suppression and protection

  • Proficiency in estimation software and MS Excel

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and reading technical drawings

  • Good communication and documentation skills

  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
