Job Description:

UNI INTERNATIONAL is seeking a highly experienced Estimation & QS Engineer with a strong background in estimating and designing specialized industrial solutions. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in the following fields:

  • Refractories

  • Passive Fire Protection (Fireproofing, Cementitious, Intumescent, Epoxy Intumescent, etc.)

  • Protective Coatings

  • Thermal Insulations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimations for tender submissions.

  • Review engineering drawings and specifications for accuracy.

  • Conduct material take-offs and pricing.

  • Liaise with procurement and site teams for cost optimization.

  • Support the technical team in design validation.

  • Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and project cost reports.

  • Collaborate with clients and subcontractors regarding estimations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.

  • Minimum of 7–10 years of relevant experience in estimation and design.

Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of fireproofing, refractory, coatings, and insulation systems.

  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel.

  • Good understanding of construction contracts and technical documentation.

  • Strong communication and coordination skills.

Preference: Candidates already in Qatar with a Transferable Visa and immediate availability will be given priority.
