Job Description:
Sta. Clara Int’l Co. W.L.L. is looking for a Safety Officer to oversee health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices on project sites at Ras Laffan. The ideal candidate must ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards, while promoting a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments at the site.

  • Implement and monitor HSE plans and procedures.

  • Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.

  • Conduct toolbox talks, inductions, and safety training.

  • Ensure the proper use of PPE and compliance with safety regulations.

  • Liaise with project managers and regulatory authorities.

  • Maintain safety documentation and audit readiness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.

  • NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification is mandatory.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in industrial or construction HSE roles.

Skills:

  • Good knowledge of Qatar Construction & HSE laws and practices.

  • Strong observational and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and reporting abilities.

  • Team player with leadership qualities.
