Job Description

Job Title: QA/QC Engineer – Mechanical

Company: Reputed Company in the Oil & Gas Sector
Location: Ras Laffan, Doha , Qatar
Contract Duration: 3 Months (Subject to Extension)

Job Description:
We are hiring a QA/QC Mechanical Engineer to support mechanical quality assurance and control functions on an Oil & Gas project site in Ras Laffan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee mechanical inspections and ensure quality standards

  • Review project specifications, drawings, and test plans

  • Conduct NDT inspections and ensure compliance with codes

  • Interface with clients and third-party inspectors

  • Maintain accurate QA/QC records and documentation

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • ASNT-TC-1A Level II or PCN Level II certification

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in NDT and mechanical inspection techniques

  • Knowledge of international codes and standards (ASME, API, etc.)

  • Strong analytical and documentation skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
