Job Description:
NAJCO Qatar is urgently seeking a skilled Mechanical Technical Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of GCC experience. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, and Drainage systems along with experience in preparing technical documentation, QCD inspections, and As-Built drawings.
Key Responsibilities:

Review and interpret mechanical design drawings and layouts (IFA & IFC)

Prepare and update shop drawings for HVAC, fire fighting, plumbing, and drainage systems

Coordinate with consultants and site teams to ensure compliance with project specifications
-
Assist in QCD inspections and ensure all mechanical works meet regulatory standards

Prepare and manage equipment and material schedules
-
Provide support in preparing final As-Built documentation
-
Resolve technical issues and provide recommendations to the site and project team
Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Minimum 5 years of GCC experience in a similar technical role

In-depth knowledge of QCD (Qatar Civil Defence) inspection procedures

Experience in handling MEP coordination and drawing approvals

Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software
Skills:

Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems

Familiarity with local codes and international standards

Attention to detail and strong documentation skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines

Good communication and coordination skills
