Job Description:
The Mechanical Inspector will ensure that mechanical works are carried out in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications. Will also oversee installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
Key Responsibilities:

Inspect mechanical installations such as HVAC, piping, and plumbing

Verify that all materials and workmanship comply with project standards

Monitor subcontractors’ work and issue daily inspection reports

Conduct and witness testing and commissioning activities

Maintain accurate records of inspections and issues
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
-
At least 5 years of relevant inspection experience

Experience in infrastructure, buildings, or oil & gas projects preferred

Familiar with ASME, ASTM, and other relevant standards
Skills:
-
Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications

Strong understanding of mechanical codes and practices

Excellent communication and documentation skills
