Job Description:

A reputable ready-mix concrete company in Qatar is urgently seeking to hire a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic with extensive hands-on experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy vehicles and concrete equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of concrete mixers and pumps, managing workshop functions, and providing technical expertise for mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular maintenance and repair of Mercedes Concrete Mixers and CIFA, Putzmeister Concrete Pumps.

  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults and execute timely repairs.

  • Oversee workshop operations and provide technical guidance to junior mechanics.

  • Maintain records of servicing and maintenance using basic computer systems.

  • Ensure minimal downtime of equipment through preventive maintenance.

  • Collaborate with the operations and logistics teams to ensure vehicle availability.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 15 years of hands-on experience as a heavy vehicle mechanic.

  • Prior experience in the ready-mix concrete industry or similar heavy equipment sectors is highly preferred.

  • Proven ability to work independently and lead workshop activities.

  • Must hold a valid transferable visa with NOC (Qatar).

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

  • Expertise in Mercedes mixers and CIFA/Putzmeister pumps.

  • Leadership ability in managing workshop operations.

  • Familiarity with basic computer systems for reporting and documentation.

  • Good communication and organizational skills.
