Job Description:

The Scaffolding Design Engineer will be responsible for designing safe and efficient scaffolding systems for projects primarily in the Oil & Gas sector. The role involves preparing detailed 2D and 3D models, ensuring compliance with safety standards and client specifications, and coordinating with project and site teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design scaffolding structures for Oil & Gas projects using AutoCAD and 3D modeling tools.

• Prepare technical drawings, calculations, and load assessments.

• Ensure scaffolding designs comply with relevant safety codes and project specifications.

• Provide technical support and guidance to site teams during erection and dismantling.

• Conduct site visits to evaluate requirements and ensure design accuracy.

• Modify and update drawings based on feedback or site conditions.

• Coordinate with clients, engineers, and safety officers for design approvals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.

• Certification in scaffolding design or a related safety field is a plus.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in scaffolding design, specifically in the Oil & Gas sector.

• Experience with site-based coordination and understanding of field limitations.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, 2D and 3D modeling software (e.g., Revit, SketchUp, or similar).

• Knowledge of scaffolding systems, safety standards, and best practices (BS EN 12811, OSHA, etc.).

• Strong analytical and mathematical skills for load and structural calculations.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
