Job Description:

HX Steel Engineering is urgently seeking a Production Engineer with a strong background in structural steel fabrication. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of factory production, from material preparation to resource planning and final delivery, ensuring high quality and timely output.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage day-to-day operations of the steel fabrication workshop.

  • Plan, schedule, and monitor production workflow and manpower allocation.

  • Oversee material preparation, fitting, welding, and finishing processes.

  • Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards throughout production.

  • Coordinate with procurement and logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials.

  • Supervise production teams and ensure efficient use of resources.

  • Maintain production records and prepare regular progress reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

  • Diploma holders with relevant experience will also be considered.

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a structural steel fabrication factory.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of steel fabrication processes and production methodologies.

  • Strong understanding of welding techniques and fitting procedures.

  • Ability to plan and execute factory production independently.

  • Good leadership and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings and production documentation.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid Qatar working visa.

  • Must have own transportation.
