Job Description:

Jachi Opticals is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Optometrist Assistant to support our licensed optometrists in delivering top-notch eye care services. The ideal candidate will assist in pre-exam testing, managing appointments, and ensuring a seamless patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist optometrists in preparing patients for eye examinations.

  • Perform basic vision screening and operate pre-testing equipment.

  • Support in selecting frames and lenses based on prescriptions.

  • Manage appointments, patient records, and customer service.

  • Maintain cleanliness and order of optical testing equipment and areas.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or certification in optometry or related field is an advantage.

  • Prior experience as an optometrist assistant or in an optical shop is preferred.

Required Skills:

  • Good understanding of optical instruments and eye care terminology.

  • Friendly, helpful attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction.
