Job Description:

A well-established construction company in Qatar is urgently seeking a qualified Civil Draftsman / AutoCAD Operator with a strong background in 2D and 3D design. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant drafting experience, preferably in the GCC region, and be proficient in preparing detailed CAD drawings for civil and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create accurate and professional 2D and 3D CAD drawings for civil engineering and architectural projects.

  • Interpret and convert conceptual sketches and ideas into detailed construction plans.

  • Revise and update existing drawings to reflect design changes and modifications.

  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure design accuracy and alignment with project requirements.

  • Maintain project documentation and drawing archives in an organized and efficient manner.

  • Ensure compliance with company CAD standards and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related technical field.

  • Minimum 3 years of proven drafting experience in civil construction projects.

  • Experience working in Qatar or GCC countries is a must.

Required Skills:

  • High proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and related design software.

  • Familiarity with building codes, construction practices, and civil site layouts.

  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

  • Organized, deadline-oriented, and capable of multitasking.

Other Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid Qatar ID (QID) with a transferable visa.

  • Immediate availability is preferred.
