We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Area Sales & Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence, particularly in the Oil & Gas sector, and will be responsible for managing client relationships, driving revenue growth, and leading a small sales team.
Candidates with a mechanical engineering background and experience in rotating equipment (pumps, compressors) and mechanical seals will be given preference.
Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the Oil & Gas sector
Generate new business and manage relationships with existing clients
Identify and target potential customers for rotating equipment and mechanical seals
Prepare and deliver technical presentations to clients
Lead and guide the sales team to achieve monthly/quarterly targets
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities
Coordinate with the technical team for client proposals and solutions
Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory)
1–2 years of proven sales experience in Qatar, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry
Valid Qatari driving license is a plus
In-depth knowledge of mechanical seals and rotating equipment (especially pumps & compressors)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets
Leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring sales teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
