Job Description:

A leading contracting company in Qatar is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with expertise in Civil and MEP works. The candidate should be proficient in cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and tendering processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for projects.
• Conduct cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control.
• Prepare interim valuations, variations, and tender documents.
• Work closely with the engineering team to assess project costs and requirements.
• Analyze and evaluate contractual claims and project variations.
• Prepare quotations and inquiries for tenders.
• Collaborate with procurement teams for material sourcing and cost estimation.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying within a contracting company in Qatar.
• Strong knowledge of Civil & MEP works.
• Must be proficient in AutoCAD.

Skills Required:

• Excellent knowledge of BOQ preparation, interim valuation, and variation analysis.
• Strong understanding of tender documentation and cost estimation.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
