Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Hood and Duct Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in maintaining, repairing, and cleaning kitchen hoods and duct systems in commercial kitchens.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspection, maintenance, and cleaning of kitchen hood and duct systems.
- Ensure proper ventilation and airflow within commercial kitchens.
- Troubleshoot and repair exhaust fans, filters, and ductwork.
- Identify and resolve issues related to grease buildup and fire hazards.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards for kitchen exhaust systems.
- Maintain records of maintenance work and report any major issues.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in kitchen hood and duct maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen exhaust systems, air filtration, and ventilation cleaning.
- Experience in commercial kitchen maintenance is preferred.
- Must have a QID with a transferable visa.
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of fire safety regulations related to kitchen exhaust systems.
- Ability to work with cleaning chemicals and specialized maintenance tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and safety compliance.
