Job Description:
The Tendering & Estimation Engineer will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, bid proposals, and quantity surveying for civil engineering projects. The role requires expertise in the tendering process, cost analysis, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit accurate project cost estimates and tender documents.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities).
- Analyze project specifications and evaluate subcontractor quotations.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams for bid submission.
- Monitor market rates and update cost databases.
- Assist in contract negotiation and value engineering.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Civil Engineering Graduate.
- Experience: 4-5 years of experience in Qatar in Quantity Surveying, Estimation, and Tendering for civil projects.
- Requirements: Valid QID and NOC.
- Availability: Must be available to join immediately.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of estimation software and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tenders simultaneously.
