Job Description
The Senior Technical Architect (STA) will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining advanced network solutions in LAN, Data Center, and WAN environments. The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in network protocols, communications interfaces, and diagnostic tools.
Core Responsibilities
✅ Deliver superior technical network solutions for LAN, Data Center, and WAN environments.
✅ Advanced expertise in TCP/IP, MPLS, CEF, L3VPN, L2VPN, VRF, Route Map, GRE, DMVPN, VLAN, STP, and Layer 2/3 switching.
✅ Expert knowledge in BGP, OSPF, VDC, vPC, and fabric path.
✅ Configure and maintain high-end network devices such as Cisco ASR 9K, Nexus 5k/7k, Catalyst 7600, 6500 series, ASA, Aruba, and Cisco WLC.
✅ Troubleshoot highly complex data, voice, and video network issues.
✅ Work with LAN/WAN topologies, including MPLS and Point-to-Point private lines.
✅ Ensure the technical compatibility of customer requirements with offered products and services.
✅ Maintain documentation using Visio and Excel and work within a formal ITIL process framework.
Requirements & Qualifications
✔ Must be located in Doha, Qatar with a Valid Residence Permit/QID & Transferable Visa with NOC.
✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
✔ Minimum 5 years of experience in the IT industry, particularly in networking and communication systems.
✔ Strong understanding of Network Systems, Communication Interface Protocols, and Diagnostic Tools.
✔ CCNP/CCIE certification is mandatory.
✔ Experience in deploying MPLS solutions.
✔ Excellent written and oral communication skills.
✔ Proficiency in Visio and Excel for documentation purposes.
✔ Familiarity with ITIL process flows.
