Job Description:

OTC Qatar is seeking a skilled Machinist for a permanent role. The ideal candidate must be proficient in operating machines and using various tools and equipment. The role requires strong technical knowledge in machine operation, fixing tools, and performing measurements accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain machines efficiently.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and calculations.
• Use and maintain precision measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers (inside and outside), depth micrometers, gauges, dial indicators, and feeler gauges.
• Work with both MM and Inch measurements across various measuring and marking tools.
• Ensure accuracy in machining processes and make necessary adjustments.
• Troubleshoot and fix mechanical tools and equipment as required.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: Proven experience in machine operation and tool handling.
• Skills:
  • Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and calculations.
  • Proficiency in precision measuring tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and workplace procedures.
  • Basic proficiency in English (reading and writing required).
