Job Description:
A well-established company in Qatar is looking for Purchase Officers with strong experience in procurement and purchasing. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in vendor management, negotiation, and supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement processes and ensure timely purchases.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for the best pricing and quality.
- Prepare purchase orders and maintain records of all transactions.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments for procurement needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Analyze market trends and source cost-effective solutions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in procurement or purchasing.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Experience in supply chain and vendor management.
- Knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems.
- Ability to analyze and forecast procurement needs.
