Job Description:

A well-established company in Qatar is looking for Purchase Officers with strong experience in procurement and purchasing. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in vendor management, negotiation, and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage procurement processes and ensure timely purchases.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for the best pricing and quality.
  • Prepare purchase orders and maintain records of all transactions.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments for procurement needs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Analyze market trends and source cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in procurement or purchasing.
  • Skills:
    • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
    • Experience in supply chain and vendor management.
    • Knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems.
    • Ability to analyze and forecast procurement needs.
